Hi i have just spent a fortune having my rear diff rebuilt here in the UK

As there was no american specialists local to me i used a local transmission shop to do the work. The whole job cost me US equivalent of $4325

Since i have had it back, when warm the diff makes some horrible noises, and get a very bad shudder through the truck when turning. The truck drives great in a staight line and when turning at speed. But turning when stationary or moving off while turning has this awful grinding, and a very bad shudder you feel through the whole truck

Any ideas?

Has the shop used the wrong oil?

What is the correct oil and does it require additive?

Thanks

I have the feeling when they rebuilt the diff, they did not set the pinion depth correctly...
