Could I install 2015 update on 2013?

I've got the 2015 Uconnect update ready to download to my 2013 truck. Would this cause any issues if I proceeded with the install? I have the 14.25 version currently but would like the 15.06.1 version. Any thoughts on if this would cause problems?

It will run a check to see the hardware model of the radio and see its not a 2015 and say cannot be installed.

Did your ram come with Nav from factory? I have a parts place where I can get 2015 8.4ANs for $450 shipped. Direct swap in and you get all the extra features. Just bought one for myself a couple days ago.

Yeah it did but changeable backgrounds aren't worth $450 lol. I'll just try software updating

Is that only on the Nav/HD equipped units? I have not seen any options on backgrounds in the non-nav unit I have on my 2015. I also did not register.

Why dont they do stuff like this on the 5.0? There is so much potential for this radio and all they do is grey, white and orange.. yet it has full 256 color, my backup camera looks awesome. They need to make screen savers or something for the 5.0

Also, I see your from Boston, do you work for FCA..? are you a man who knows how to get things..? If so, do you want to be my new best friend? lol
