What amp are you running? Are you wired in parallel or series?

Make sure you are parallel so you get a 2ohm load if you are running a mono block amp.

Poly fill may but you need to look into sub displacement. That box maybe to small if your wanting big output id look into fox box. When i went to there ported 10 box my setup turned into a whole new animal

alpine PDX 1.600. I bought these little adapters that slide onto the studs on the subs. Basically I ran a + & - to one sub then from that one sub I went to the other.

If its wired like the picture you're good.
I would seal all the seams with fiber glass resin or some sort of calk and make sure the box isn't leaking after that. Polyfill will also help as I bet those sub's need closer to a cube to dig deep and get decent SPL.

If you have 2 subs there is a easy way to find out if you have them wired correctly. Disconnect one sub and see if your bass increases. If you accedently wired one out of phase, they cancel each othrr out and bass is reduced.
Sounds like you have them wired in parallel. That mono alpine has two + and two - terminals. But they are not discreet left and right. So you can wire them to the amp using all 4 terminals. The amp bridges internally.

Moving past that. ......you seem to have plenty of power for those subs.
If a box is too big, subs will have alot of movement with the music as they play and may have a fluttery sound. Overall loudness and cleanliness will suffer.
If a box is to small, subs will have excessive excursion. Think of it as the sub looks like it is popping out of the box. Higher levels of volume and bass may cause a popping sound. Result of too much internal pressure

And thats where polyfill helps......a little. Slows down the sound waves inside the box reflecting around.

your airspace is about right for the sub. the subs say .66 and the box is .65 per sub.

where did you get your signal from? what type of device are you using (loc, dsp)? is it hooked up correctly (not out of phase)? like sated above make sure your subs are wired like that pic shows and they are not out of phase.

I just dont think my subs are doing the job. 2-10" polks entry level i'm sure in a Sound off Audio box very well built with 300 watts going to each if I have it wired correctly. I have some boom but its just what I think it should be. Could the poly help it out?

What exactly are they not doing for you? Not loud enough? Low enough? Are you sure you're sending them the correct frequencies? Where are your amp/gain settings at? A little more info would help.

On the other hand, maybe you're expecting a little too much from 2 bottom of the line 10"s running off 300 watts?

Most of what you have said of box size is not true. Look at infinite baffle setups aka huge sealed box some of the best sound quality comes from these.
Small enclosures will not have excessive excursion unless you are running more power to the sub than it can handle to make up for the small enclosure. Popping is a result of a clipped signal from trying to drive the amp to get the output you get from a larger enclosure.
Anyways I'm with Brad what are you not happy with about your sub's?

Volume of the box is a bit smaller though due to the subs displacement.

My professional history and experience supports what I said. And yes popping can happen from a clipping amp. But over excursion from a heavy amount of power on a lower power handling sub and with a box that is very small will result in what I explained as well.

Sorry I don't know your professional history but the amount of power he is giving those isn't heavy, assuming xovers and gains are set correctly. I personally have only seen and heard what you are explaining in a small box from clipping signal or leaks. I'm not trying to make a ******* contest just trying to give good accurate information.

I'll check gains this weekend and let you know. I have an aftermarket radio so no LOC used. It has a SW output.
