Hi

I have a 2015 Ram Laramie crewcab. Today I noticed that the cruise control set speed is different (lower by 2 kms/hr if above 100km/h or 1km/hr lower if below 100km/h) than what actually is displayed in the speed cluster. At first I thought it would get back to the set speed but seems like the difference is constant throughout.

Anyone having the same issue or would know what could be wrong?

Is the Truck equipped with Tires/ Wheels that are not stock size and are aftermarket. Change in tires and or Rim size will alter the speedometer reading.

It’s normal. I set mine to say cruise to 65 and the truck will run at 65 90% of the time. Same with our work trucks, so it’s got to be whatever logic the truck uses to keep speed. My Challenger never had that problem, 65 meant 65. I assume it has something to do with the weight of the trucks and not wanting to over shoot the set speed.

No they are stock rims and tires. Not sure what could be wrong as i suspected the wheels first but don't see an issue.

That's understandable but on mine of i set on 65, it will show 65 on cruise limit and 63 on the speedometer. It does try to adjust over up and down but in a straight road the speedometer will be at 63 95% of the time.
