Thanks, honestly I'm in the same boat and will use the ones that arrived yesterday.

Can't fault Wade for being a perfectionist but these are more than a "good enough" fit for my plane Jane express mirrors.

So, I got these mirrors also, because after Wade sending me his phone holder to tinker with in my bench seat Tradesman, I figured WTH I want a pair. And I'm really happy with these mirrors! Short of the integrated blind spot mirrors in my wife's Traverse side view mirrors, these are the best ones I've had on a truck! Now I have the beaux power heated mirrors, no dimming, no turn signal, nothing too fancy. There is about a 1/4" gap on top and bottom, but I mounted mine lower on the mirror to give me the best fit and look. I love the angle they view at and how I can see the blind spot with them.

Now, Wade and I just got off the phone, because he wanted to make sure that it's exactly what I was after and to pick my brain about the fit. Talk about customer service, HE CALLED ME! I got to try mine out on the highway today. Honest feedback, at first look from the drivers seat after install I was a pinch skeptical about the passenger side. Because of the distance of the mirror from the drivers seat and the angle of the mirror, the blindspot mirror seemed very "narrow" or "thin" in the width on that side. I immediately loved the drivers side, but wasn't sure if the passenger side would be as effective. So on to work I went, a nice jaunt down interstate 75. I watched my mirrors more closely than I probably ever have, just to see the views. I watched where cars would appear as I passed them both in the next lane and one lane over. I also watched as cars passed me, again in lanes immediately next to me as well as lanes over. Almost immediately I realized my concerns were unwarranted! It's obvious Wade really did his homework on these and they were explicitly designed for their intent. The angles the mirrors sit at are very well thought out, and the way a car appears in them verses the regular mirror, the rear view, or out your windows in your direct line of sight are about as perfect as you could possibly hope. They function as proper as they look once installed.

A big tip of the cap to you Wade! You've brought a well executed product to market at a more than fair price. Well done sir!

I would think you'd want the mirror to be more seamless with the truck mirror. Maybe I need to see them in person and it'll look better. Don't get me wrong, this seems to be a great product, and I'm probably going to get a set based on the reviews that have already been mentioned. But, that's been my only hesitation so far. I'm just a little nervous about the the thicker black edge on the viewer side being somewhat of a distraction to me.

I think your perception is skewed due to the reflection of that edge.

It may be, but that's part of the concern of the thicker edge, too. The reflection makes it look even worse.

Hence, the inside edge (the edge closest to the truck) needs to be taller and the outside edge to be shorter, so that the mirror has a greater angle of view than the stock mirror.

Wade, that makes perfect sense. I get it. Thank you for the response. More than likely, I'm going to go ahead and try them. I'm 99.999% positive that I'm overlooking, or overthinking this too much. Once I get them installed, I'm sure my concerns will disappear.

Ill take a set for my 2014 Ram 2500 cummins. Your very first post described my exact feeling about these damn mirrors. 24 foot stock trailer backing is more like a video game. Foot on clutch, other on throttle, one hand on mirror adjust, and other hand on manual shifter.... oh wait... need something to steer with now... DAMNIT

For those who are worried about their function, your worries are misplaced. The dark edge facing inward concerned me but once they are mounted up and you are used to using them you no longer notice them. The passenger side is slimmer just due to the angle that you are sitting relative to the mirror. Geometry is a ***** but it still functions well. I find myself still checking over my shoulder when lane changing but really the blind spot mirror works perfectly.

I have always been an 'over the shoulder looking' lane changer. Probably because I just don't want to get my truck crunched, but over time...these blind spot mirrors haven't lied to me.

I will send you a set of the Blind Spot Mirrors for non-dimming side mirrors as soon as they are in....actually....since you live so close (kevperro lives 35 minutes south of me), I am going to hand deliver them!
