I agree 100%. Just returned from a few hundred mile road trip (all interstate) and once you're used to them, it really is nice to be confident knowing nobody is hiding in your blond spot.My continued use of the Wadestar blind.spot mirrors = I love these things more everytime I drive with them !
Makes it much easier to confidently change lanes on the highway or in city traffic .
Holy crap, that sucks!!It would appear that somebody felt they needed my mine more then I did. Oh well it could have been worse as they could have taken them both.

Now that is customer service at its finestDRkNESS...I am sending you out a replacement...RIGHT NOW! I am so sorry to hear/see that. Wowza. I didn't know these were 'stealing' worthy.
A set is being shipped to you today!
Wade
Wade,
After driving for a while today i found that the mirrors may actually be too thick, maybe making them thinner will change things. On my drivers side i found the mirror had to be adjusted too far inward for the mirror to be affectively usefull which makes the regular part of the mirror way to close to the truck, this may change for others due to where you have your seat adjusted also

Omg I am in shock, I just woke up and saw there was an email about a pkg delivery. Can you imagine my surprise when I found out it was Wade sending me another set. Now I was in no way implying when I shared what happened to me that I was hopeful to have a replacement. In fact I was going to order another set next month upon seeing if any more changes were to be done.
This confirms it for me that Wade isn't a company, but a rarity among folks that do business. Again I wasn't looking for any handouts, just was venting to my Ram friends. Thank you very much Wade for being twice the man I ever was in business.![]()

X2! [emoji106] [emoji106]Hands down THE BEST customer service I've ever received and seen.![]()
Yes but they still look (and work) great. I decided to go a different route since Wade is designing one special made for non dimming mirrors, I decided to use my current set as parking mirrors. No more accidentally parking like a jerk for me!Hmmmm. Interesting. I may have to purchase these. I cant believe how much i have been around here and never seen this before. If not for another thread I never would have stumbled on this. I wonder what other cool stuff is out there I dont know about.
Are there any changes in the works Wade? Should I hold off my order for a new generation or something soon to be released?
Also I see this on your site:
"The RM9 Blind Spot Mirror specifically fits the RAM truck mirrors that are Power Dimming OEM part numbers: 68079362AA (Right) 68079363AA (Left).
The RM9 Blind Spot Mirrors will also fit the Non-Heated, Non-Dimming OEM Part numbers: 68050296AA (Right) 68050297AA (Left) but will have more of a gap on the top or bottom. A Blind Spot Mirror specifically for these particular mirrors is currently being designed and should be available for purchase in July, 2016."
I have heated non dimming mirrors. will there be a gap?

Mineralram,
I have my stock mirrors lined up with the edge of the truck. With that, I have perfect view of my blind spot. However, in this journey, I have realized that everyone has their mirrors adjusted to a certain way, to their liking. So...I am not disagreeing with your view one bit.
As for the thickness. I am working on it. As I've dissected the current mirror as much as I possibly can, I can see that I can shave off about 4mm (1/8"), which may not seem like much, but it would help.
To have it at glass level, isn't possible. The blind spot mirror will always have thickness to it as you have to have a mirror, that is angled in one direction...and curved at another...all in the name of picking up a view that is different than your stock side mirror. I am working on it, however...and trying to find the best possible solution.
Wade
I hate to bring up that I'm having this same issue because Wade has done such an awesome job with this product. This is only in the interest of customer feedback for an even better v2.![]()
I too have a difficult time with the blind spot mirror unless I angle my mirrors in so much that the main mirror views too much of the side of the truck and not the road. I had a feeling this might be an issue when I read 30ish pages back that Wade preferred to have the mirrors angled in more to see his tires. I like having it where I barely see the side of the truck on the inside edge of the main mirror.
It may be my height or seat position, but I end up seeing too much black edge of the blind spot mirror and too little mirror. I also would have tried using them horizontally at the bottom, but they angle too far down.
I'm towing for the first time with them this weekend. We'll see how it goes.
