Custom Hurst knob.

I did this a few months back, but I thought I'd share it with you guys. I bought a stick 1/2" aluminum tubing from Home Depot. I have access to a lathe, so I turned it down enough to be able to cut some 1/2-20 threads, polished it with aluminum polish and installed the knob. For mounting it to the shifter I cut a piece of a rubber sunglass strap, slid it on and slid the aluminum shaft down. It's not super rigid but good enough. I could put a set screw in to firm it up but I'm happy with the way it is.
