Hey everyone, I’m new here, but figured I’d post about a recent issue, and something that should alarm most heavy duty owners.
After 8 long years of my truck constantly being in the dealer for repairs, due to overheating, charging, battery issues, it was discovered (and confirmed by Ram, and my local dealer) that my Ram 3500 with a snow plow prep package, was built without the upgraded parts.
Window sticker clearly shows it should have the upgraded items associated to a “plow prep package”, but when my VIN number is ran, it shows the lower grade parts as being installed and code for my truck.
After years and tow bills (from over heating), radiators, break downs, etc, Ram had officially told me “we aren’t willing to do anything about this error”.
I have been loyal to Ram since 2006, but after this, I’ll never be able to bring myself to buy a Chrysler product again.
Terrible terrible customer service.
This is far from over, but unfortunate that I need to get the Attorney General involved.
