Hello guys. I'm about to install my 2/4 belltech lowering kit this week. I want it to sit level front to back and would like the front to sit 2 1/2" lower and the rear to be level. I'm assuming the rear will be 1 " higher from pics I've seen. How much should I cut from front coils to get a 1/2" more drop and how much on rear to get 1 1/2" more? Someone please correct me if I'm thinking wrong.

When I cut my coils in June, I measured around the outside circumference to see what the circumference was. All the research I could find was 1/3 of a coil was about 3/8" and 1/2 a coil was closer to 3/4". My circumference was right at 18" so I figured 6" around was 1/3 of a coil, 9" around was half of a coil. I cut mine 7.5" around. For my rear, I cut right at 1 coil.

I'll post a couple of pics so you get an idea. Sorry about the first few pics, had a broken lenses on my phone and it's the only angle I have pics in all 4 states.

With Cut coils and on 275/55-20- I did pick up 1/2" in fender gap with the drop in tire size, but the body also sits 1/2" lower.

Here is a few more pics of how it currently sits.

Thanks for the info. So the rear still sits a little higher than the front?

Just a touch, but yes. If you want to get more level, I would try cutting about 1/8-1/4 coil at a time and see what it looks like. You can always cut more out, but if you go too far, you can't add spring back.

Did you cut factory springs or lowered springs?

I'm pretty positive he cut his belltech springs. Nobody does a 3/5 drop on cut factory springs I don't think
I don't think you could safely cut that much out of the factory springs, but bnb like you said, I haven't seen/heard of it.
