Hey guys,

I was planning on putting in a pair of mini d2s 3.0 square projectors in quad headlights. I am wondering how much harder they are to install over the mini h1's. I know I'll have to cut the reflector for the d2s shaft. But can you still use the thread and nut to mount or do you have to jb weld/epoxy the projector to the reflector? Also anyone know if the back of the projector fits in the housing or do you need to seal the back too?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Blackcase - they are more work, but will fit!

You'll need to make a bigger hole, and the shrouds will need cut to fit. Bolt it in, no JB weld needed for the back. Also, you simply cannot use D2S bulbs inside the light - the D2S head (to the ballast) is just too big, and you won't get the dust cap back on. So.....what we do? We use D2H bulbs. They have AMP connectors, and are about 1/2" shorter. In fact, we don't even use D2S on any setup anymore. D2H works nicely and keeps less stock that I have to have on hand.
