I just bought a 2013 outdoorsman true blue and mineral grey. Since the truck has no chrome and everything is color matched i think the light grey wheels kind of stick out too much. I like the wheels and cant afford to just buy new ones. Is there a way that i could darken my wheels like you would tint taillights. Or would i have to just have my wheels blasted and repainted?

You could use plasti-dip and plasti-dip the wheels. That would make them black. And it's really easy.

Im really not a fan of black wheels. I was thinking of just going a few shades darker.

I experimented with Black Chrome painr from the local parts store on these. IMO, came out ok, but nothing like I thought black chrome should look like.

I think those look amazing, although I suppose it could look different in person.

Thanks, I may switch them just for fun to see how I like them at some point but it isn't on my top five list at the moment.

Yea can't hurt to see what they look like eventually, but I definitely understand them not being on the top of your priority list.

That gunmetal looks pretty cool. I wish they would have taken the car outside to see how it looks in the sun.

i kinda also suggest trying the gunmetal gray plasti dip. It will give you a different look and if you don't like it you can just peel it off unlike if you painted or powder coated them.

I think the guy in the video is pretty lazy as well. He should have taken the wheels off of the car.
