DBall 2 requires 2 key fobs?

I only have 1 but the instructions repeatedly state 2 are needed to program. I emailed them but waiting on response. Anyone with info on this? Will i have to carry both fobs on my keychain? If so then i could have just went aftermarket...

i only carry 1 key fob, it needs to see 1 key fob twice as per instructions, you insert the fob and key on but dont start, then remove the key and d the same thing a second time.

Welp now its not working. Key fob starts truck but wont unlock or turn truck off. Bummer. Guess i gotta go buy a spare fob

Do you have push button start or fob in the hole start? Is the inaction when the remote start is active or after you stepped on the brake?
I have a 15 second Diesel Delay set on my dBall and in the waiting period their is NO action from the fob. As soon as it starts the fob will unlock the doors. I have fob-in-hole start.

if you have the fobik and not push to start you need two keys as it disables the fob you use to program it

I installed one in my 2012 and it worked great with one key for 2 months. I just had a problem where the truck died while driving and would not restart until I unplugged the unit. Come to think of it, I used the 2nd key to remote start and then put it in the ignition. It died after I took off about a mile down the road. I think that's why it died, the second key was not programmed. Time to hook it back up and try again.

Well maybe the dBall in the 2015 3500 is different because I can use either fob to start and run my truck. Maybe there is an issue with the older models.

you can use either to start and run the truck but the remote unlock and lock function will only work on one if you have the Fobik key.

Direct quote from my install direction they didnt apply to me as I have push to start but here they are.

Special Notice: Please be sure to program the DBALL2 to your truck using BOTH of your existing factory Fobik Key & Remotes according to the 'Special Key2Go Flashing / Programming Instructions' included with your order.
If you program the DBALL2 with only one key, as shown in the RSR Install Guide, then **** The single remote used to program with Key2Go will not be functional when the vehicle is remote started **** meaning it will NOT lock/unlock the doors when running on the remote starter.
So, be certain to use BOTH remotes to program the DBALL2 to your truck.

Yeah i just have one fob pictured here

The other key just unlocks doors/tailgate

I guess i have to buy a second key fob. Dealer quoted $200 for fob and $50 to program it:/....

North coast keyless has them for $49.99 call around I found a dealer by my to program my spare push to start keyless setup fob for $20

Update***

Wiped and re flashed my dball2 then re programmed the key and now it works fine... lol wtf
