I don't know what yours is like but my '11 sets the tailgate and grill badge in a recess. It would look terrible on mine

Debadging on here, I believe, tends to be removing all or most of the badges other than the 2 ram heads (grill and tailgate).

I am doing both ways on my 19 Laramie crewcab monochrome. Replaced all the chrome (colored) with shinny black. This included RAM letters on front, big RAM head on tailgate, RAM 1500 on side, wheel centers, and side HEMI badges with body color touch up paint. The hardest was chrome colored inserts (1500 HEMI 5.7L) on the black hood bezel. Then front drivers/passengers windows tinted to match rear. Added black hood and window deflectors. Added black trifold tonneau cover and black plug in tow hitch. All of this on delmonica red (wine) pearl paint. The chrome wheels remain. I have delayed putting back on the black RAM 1500 back on the sides to see which I like best. Also deciding on orginal or different location for them. Not blackout but different than others on the road.

Biggest thing I hated about the badges on my Outdoorsman - other than the badges themselves - is the dirty streaks that were under the badges after every rain storm.

The state of Connecticut just put in a $100 fee for any trade in you make. This is on top of the tax on the sale. Plus a new vehicle valued at 47k let’s say and a mill rate of 31.49 is a lot of money a year in property taxes.

Yes Connecticut is a communistic state and they do not want to have nice things unless you can pay the man.

I may actually consider de-badging my truck. I've always liked the look of the badges but they take up a ridiculous amount of real estate on my door. So much so that I couldn't fit the advertising for my business on the front door.

I’m not for de-badging but I will admit, it does look good on certain trucks. Any kind of lift- or none at all, bigger tires- or stock size, with black wheels and body color bumpers/grille, it does look better than on just a plain truck with shiny wheels and/or shiny bumpers and grille.

I know my truck isn’t the same color as yours, OP, but I got a lot of shiny stuff on mine and de-badging it would make it look silly. One thing I am glad about though, is the ginormous RAM on my tailgate is the same color as my truck and not chrome. It doesn’t stick out as much, but it still gets the word out. lol.

I removed every badge except the two ram heads logos. I did replace the chrome rams head logo with a black one so it blends in to the black truck.

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.

And the dip can take some abuse too so it's not like it'll peel away if you stare at it hahaha
