Why go through the headache? Guaranteed buyer, plus PA is a tax credit state.
My friend had the exact same thing happen .He went to the dealer in NJ Sansone and it was covered if you had them install the running boards. Today he has brand new running boards on the truck.Dealer running boards issue 4 years on truck and chrome is popping near the black pads and my truck is garage kept.

Tell them you will take off old ones and put new ones on yourself and see if that fly,s. You just want to replace their defective running boards. FCA might do that because they have to pay the dealer to install them and take old ones off. Also open a case and get a case number from them have them e-mail you it, for your recordsfeedback from FCA on my running boards issue. FCA said they would pay for new running boards, only if I have the dealer install them at a price of $400.00
what a crock! I told FCA to keep their running boards.
