I was apprehensive as can be, but I debadged the truck in about 20 mins this afternoon.

I'd highly recommend it to anyone as a quick, simple mod. I basically used the technique found in the "How to debadge the right way" thread...

After using the fishing line, I heated up the panel with a hair dryer (it's cold here), pulled it off, then used an aerosol can of 3M Adhesive Remover and a rag to remove any residue.

Debadging makes a huge difference!

That being said, I kind of want to get some early 3rd Gen badges...

Are those the ones with the rounded corners? I thought about getting some and making them black. Just the Ram ones though.

I like the clean look though, so I'm kind of torn if I want to put any on the truck at all. Thought about removing the tailgate one as well.

I haven't pulled the trigger on debadging my truck just yet. I did do a mock up of what it would look like without the stacked "Ram 1500" badge on the side of my truck.

As my truck stands now.

Here's what it would look like without the stacked "Ram 1500". I think I'll keep the HEMI 5.7 badge either way.

What do you guys think?
