Time for new wheels and tires. I've been running stock 20" with g2 grapplers for a few years now on BORA spacers. Wanting to get rid of those for new wheels. Tires are completely bald on the inside (yes alignment I know). Now time for the hard part, what size wheels and tires. BDS recommends 20x9 with 5" backspacing. I know the recommended is 20x9 but what about 20x10? The recommended tire size is also 37x13.5 and I think a 13.5 wide tire on a 9" wheel is going to bulge out a lot. 37x13.5 on a 20x10 would look a little sleeker. Or should I stick with 35x12.5 which is basically what I have now (and probably keep my mpg the same).

I can get a great deal on Gear 726B Big Block wheels and 37x13.5 Ironman All Country M/T. Just need to know width. Reviews on either of those would be awesome.

Also, looking for suggestions on front upper and rear control arms. Leaning towards BDS fronts and Core 4x4 rears. Any other suggestions to help alignment would be greatly appreciated.

20x10's is plenty but could go with a 11 or 12 wide. That depends mostly on how you want the tire to look. 11 or 12 will give the sidewall a flatter looking surface. A 10 will have a slight curvature to the tire. A 9 is not good. Too narrow and will eat the center of the tire no matter what psi. Ive got G2's on my truck. 35x12.5/20531bef57104b1f2530f0e9f40ea48b76.jpg

Go 37’s man! I would if I didn’t park my truck in the garage but she hasn’t been rendered to the outdoors yet........

It’s amazing that a lot of 37’s are not really or in some case are not heavier than some 35’s and the weight plays a bigger role in the mpg’s, handling, and breaking. I was looking the other day and I found a set of 37’s that weighed less than 35’s per the manufacturers specs. As far as rim choice, I’ll bow out of that one.

I went with 12-wide and haven't regretted it. I get lots of looks and waves.

Go here and put in your measurements to get an idea of what your truck would look like with various options.
