Is that a metal bumper cracked in half?

And the dear probably got up an ran off after the accident. I hate that they can do that some of the time.

Every time me and my wife go to walmart ( always at night wooded drive 22 miles.) I worry about this, We Fear the Deer.

Very sorry to hear this, does your insurance cover? How does your insurance work up there? Like ours?

Sorry man. Amazing how they just appear out of nowhere and they're too dumb to run away.....

That's a hard hit! Sorry to see. My brother just got his RAM back from a deer hit. His wife's na.e is deer slayer. She get at least 1 or 2 a year.

I almost got one last night. My 3500 can do an impressive panic stop. I was lucky to be paying g attention, and saw it up on the bank. I went from 60 to 20 real quick.

Should be covered by comprehensive coverage, under the act of nature category. At least that's how it was when I worked for a large insurance company.

I believe hes in canada, don't know how their insurance works. Similar to ours or no. Sometimes other countries have wildly different things iv'e come to see. Such as Australia i believe does not have independent repair shops, dealer only.

Good call, I didn't notice that. Now I'm curious as well haha.

Those metal bumpers on the rams are thin garbage. I’m surprised it doesn’t look worse.

I do my best to try to notice "every little thing" when i post because some will let you know where you went wrong. Not so bad on here, but on another forum (Honda) i caught it yesterday. :893karatesmiley-thu

If you ask FCA, i'm sure the response will be something like this. " In our effort to protect out customers and occupants, we strive to make our body parts to crumple to ensure maximum protection in case of a crash event."

Haha yeah I hear ya, I use a desktop to use the forums so I'm usually pretty good at catching all that stuff (location or truck year/engine details in the profile, or being in the correct forum section (4th gen vs 5th gen))...but we all slip up sometimes!

Back on topic, we have a ton of deer around here as well. Only had one close call this winter, similar to tourriders video, saw it in advance and was able to react early, but he cut in front of me just like that video, from drivers to passengers side.

We have tons here too, what scares me, i see dead ones that have been hit ALL the time, so i know my number is coming up soon, LOL

We drive slow on that trip 55, no more than 60, people these days really don't like that. I don't give 2 S$!%s. Not their car i'm worried about.
