can you just do a egr delete or do you have to a tuner and def system delete as well.

What year is the truck? Anything 13+ is going to require a tuner if I am not mistaken. What kind of issues are you having?

No issues just was gonna do it a little at a time if I could. My truck is a 2017.

You have to get a tuner to remove any of the factory emissions equipment on the newer trucks. For 13+ trucks, several tuners offer EGR-less tuning, where they tune disables the EGR but leaves the rest of the emissions components in the exhaust intact. The only side effect is slightly higher DEF usage.
