Single or dual system?

Most likely ur aftermarket muffler will be shorter and require a filler peice. If it's a dual exit the front of the muffler will require a 3" DIA extension. So will the single setup but u can do it either side.

I'm not a fan of welding unless u have to or strength is needed/not enough room for a clamp. But don't use crush style U clamps... get either the new torsion type or the kind that fully wrap around the pipe and seal. If u expand the end of the pipe u use to fill in the gap u could just slip the original pipe over a d the clamp just keeps it in place or from slipping off.
