. I'm finding it hard to comprehend ranges in the mid 20's for a 4th gen practically stock Ram with a 5.7. Never had a stock 4th gen, but did have a stock 3rd gen with the 4.7 and it never came close to those numbers.
The figure in my post , was 24.5 miles p/gal. calculated for a Canadian gallon, which is more volume than an American gallon.

[Not a ploy,because I live in Canada].
Converted that is,about 20mpg in the USA[I see you live in Florida],so that is closer to what you have ..The sticker on the truck I bought new,2023, mileage was 11.7litres /gallon highway in Canada, for the 5 7.I am getting that or just a bit better. The 93 tune (seems we both have a 93tune)does boost my mileage a bit if you drive conservatively.

Canada hasn't used the Imperial gallon for years,we did at one point in time, but we've been using the US gallon for quite a few years now. Whens the last time you seen an Imp gallon on any jug of liquid you buy in Canada.

Sorry ... I never used,or mentioned, the word Imperial........When I buy gas IT IS NOT AN AMERICAN GALLON IN CANADA.Never was...... In Canada, volumes of liquid are measured in liters .An American gallon is 3.78 litres. In Canada a gallon is 4.5 litres .Canada has used the Metric system since ,way back in the mid 70's.I remember because up to grade 13,it was the Imperial System, and then we had to relearn everything in Metric, afterward( I was upset because of that).I remember it was 1977,or so,as part of going metric, hiway signs all were changed including speed limit signs. But CANADA'S GALLON of GAS is BIGGER than a USA,GALLON(3.78liters) of GAS.A Canadian gallon of gas is 4.5liters.THAT is what I have been buying at the gas station,in Canada,(NOT A AMERICAN GALLON)even today.Good old Petro Canada 94octane ($ 2.15 per liter).

Like i said we haven't used the 4.54 litre gallon in years, show me a jug of liquid in Canada that has a gallon wrote on it,and isn't the 3.78 liter US gallon.Little tidbit for you Canada never had it's own gallon,we used the Imperial gallon which originated in England ,from what i remember being taught in school in the 70's.
Your truck shows the US mpg or Liters per hundred clics, nowhere does it show the milege in Imperial gallons. The only ones that had that option to show both US mpg and Imperial mpg were the cars, and not all of them had that option,my wifes 1320 Challenger would show both US mpg and Imperial mpg,but my 300 doesn't,and her earlier 16 Challenger didn't either.

I give up and will never return to this thread,as it is way OFF topic.I do not like the way this is going .I stand by my answer .I do not want to argue.A jug of a liquid product imported from the USA to Canada, that is one American gallon, will say 3.78 liters ,that is true, because that is what it is.A
gallon jug of something that is a liquid made in Canada will say 4.5liters. Most things in Canada are imported. I think WILD ONE IS A GREAT/BEST, CONTRIBUTOR TO THIS FORUM(I am giving credit to where credit is due) AND IT MAKES ME FEEL THE SPIRIT OF THIS FOURM IS BEING LOST HERE ... BEING IN THIS TYPE OF DISCUSSION WITH HIM,IT PROVES NOTHING,and is GOING NOWHERE.....It looks bad that 2 Canadians can"t be on the same web, without this type of discussion, obviously no real benefit .
I WOULD PLEASE ASK THE MODERATORS TO CLOSE THIS THREAD.

closing the thread to further discussion on 93 octane tunes certainly won't help the spirit of the forum.

i have never seen anything for sale in gallons in Canada, all big oil jugs at cdn tire or Walmart or napa are always 5l
windshield washer and prestone are always in 3.78l "gallon" jugs even the made made in Canada stuff
the standard 5 gallon pail can either be 18.9 19 or 20l depending on the manufacturer

we manufacturer finished oil products (motor oil gas diesel et cetra) automotive chemicals (windshield washer antifreeze et cetra in Canada so no need to import that stuff unless its Redline or Amsoil type speciality product
