Diablo Trinity Original Backup

So the other day I loaded the original backup back onto the truck from the canned 87oct tune. It stated it was going to reset the tool and load the backup. That's fine. Makes sense. This morning I'm loading my 89oct HF tune and it's saving an original backup again. Is this normal? Will it really save an original backup EVERY time you write a tune to the truck when it's currently not tuned?

It's normal. When it resets the tool it erases the tunes you add to it I think. So it has to back it up again. At least that's my understanding.

Yeah, I had to reload the custom tunes back to the tool last night. I just didn't realize it would clear the original backup since that is what's being installed into the vehicle. But anyways, got my HF 89 oct tune installed now! Can't wait to drive around and feel the power!
