So if you have to get a replacement pcm via the dealer how would the dealer fix that issue?

They would have a dealer record of the swap...

So when you give Diablo your oem do they not input your mileage to the new pcm? If not, why do they ask for it?

We are talking about keeping your factory PCM to swap back in for warranty work. Once you put in their PCM and drive, the mileage of your factory PCM will not match your cluster. So, if you need to swap it back for warranty work, it will have the mileage from when you removed it.

If you keep your factory PCM for them to tune, this is then obvious to the dealer.

No idea if the dealer will look at the PCM mileage, but lets say you have major transmission or engine work, I would imagine that would be standard practice.

If one doesn’t care about their warranty, or are out of warranty, this does not matter.
