I have a 2012 express and i am in the market for a programmer now that they are available, i see that i can get the DS intune for $381 free shipping from autoanything and about $50 more for the bullydog, I have used diablosport before on a chevy but have no experience with the bullydog. Anyone have any honest imput about features and gains that might push me one way or the other??

The InTune is not available yet for the 2012's. They are expecting a release later this month. Also, Diablo's canned tunes aren't running as strong as Bullydog. If you want to use Diablo, then I would get a Trinity from Hemifever with his custom tuning. These are $599 from him which includes the custom tune. If you are looking for a cheaper option, then the Bullydog is a great alternative that is running great on the 11's and 12's. We have these on sale this month also for only $419.99 with free shipping.

When the inTunes are released they do support custom Tunes.

Yes, but in the end you are just better off getting the Trinity from Hemifever if you want custom tuning. InTune will be $449 and I believe Hemifever charges $125 for the custom tuning. Thats $574 total when he sells the Trinity with custom tune included for only $599.

My Choice

Im a newbie to both the world of tuning and also to this forum. 2012 RAM 1500 5.7L HEMI only MOD thus far is a drop in K&N. My plans are(as cash flow provides) to put in a CAI and the jury is still out on the exhaust, may need some advice on that. Too many choices. The information I have come across here is priceless. I have done an extensive amount of reading on the tuners and have come to a decision between a Diablo Sport inTune and the Bullydog HEMI Plus. I went with the Bullydog because it seems to me it has so much more to offer and has been tried and tested. Thanks All!
