differance in headers

been lookin into gettin new headers and found the only ones really available are jba and bbk shortys. however it says on thier sites that they are only made for the 2wd trucks and i was wonderin why? i thought that dealing with shortys the differance in 2wd and 4wd didnt matter. i thought the only time that mattered was when dealing with long tubes. would it honestly hurt if i put the shorty headers on my 4wd?

when i was looking into headers i thought either jba or bbk had a shorty for 4wd...i wish i knew which one..i dont remember because i went with the american racing headers..to me the performance was worth the cost..but if you are just looking for sound go shorty and save urself the extra grand lol

well i know for a fact its not bbk cause i went straight to thier website. ive been considering long tube headers too jus dont know if i want to spend the money lol

haha i just went to bbk...im trying to find where i found it for JBA now..im sure someone on this site knows if there is a difference but right now i couldnt tell you if they would fit on the 4wd models or not

Jba will fit the 4wd's as far as I know. Bbk for sure only makes em for 2wd which is bs IMO. Waited on the bbk's for a month before I found out.

ya im prob gonna go with the jba shortys i jus couldnt figure out why bbk shortys would be just for 2wd doent make sense since it not a long tube

JBA's will work with both, BBK's only 2wd. There's a tab or bracket on the 4wd's that get in the way of the BBK's. The front suspensions on the 4wd's is different.
