Difference between long bed (8') on 2001 Ram 3500 vs 2002 Ram 3500

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins. Installed a bedrug when new and it needs to be replaced. Bedrug only shows one for a 2002. From what I can see, the 2 are identical. Does anyone know if there were changes to the long bed between these years? The 1500 model changed between 2001 and 2002 but I don't think the heavy duty 2500/3500 changd until 2003. Any help reallly appreciated. Bedrug has been less than helpul.

the 1500s changed body styles in July 2002 - 2008
the Heavy Duty Rams changed body styles in 2003 - 2009

so you should be OK, measure before buying
Heavy Duty Rams always are a year behind the 1500 body styles

1500 First Generation, 1981 – 1993

1500 Second Generation, 1994 – 2001 ... HD Ram 1995 - 2002

1500 Third Generation, 2002 – 2008

1500 Fourth Generation, 2009 –
