I currently have a 6 inch rough country lift on my 2002 ram 1500 and I want to go higher, I know a body lift is an option but I have a manual transmission and I heard it isn't a good idea to install a body lift on a manual trans.. Suggestions??

Body lift on a manual transmission truck is fine, you just have to do a little custom fabbing yourself to extend the shift linkage.

I'm pretty sure you can leave the shift linkage alone and your shifter is just gunna sit lower. Don't quote me though. That's just my past experience on different vehicles but I doubt these are any different

I think the only option other than a body lift would to be to find a larger lift kit plus bigger tires. I don't know what you think would be another option other than a body lift, with your current lift that is.

Also I think with a body lift you have to do something with the radiator fan shroud so it doesn't hit the fan and destroy itself.
