Discontinued Intermediate shaft help

Hello everyone I have a 97 1500 5.2 2wd, it has a bad intermediate steering shaft and I can not find one anywhere. I can find lots of listings for 4×4 but nobody lists 2wd. Moparpartsonline did list it but 1 day after ordering emailed me saying it was discontinued. Does anyone know the difference between 4x4 and 2wd shafts? Can it be made to work? Lmc truck lists the shaft and doesn't even specify drive.

I imagine they're the same as im pretty sure the boxes are the same
