I've been looking at a 4" lift and see quite a few require cutting of some portion of the truck. Are there any kits that are bolt on replacements rather than cutting?

That I have found. Why I want to do a 3" with the upper control arms from Rough Country. Figured If I wanted to return the truck to stock. I could.

The cutting is minimal but your correct it’s pretty much a permanent decision. If you must be able to return to stock your best bet is to add Bilstein struts up front, icon rear coils or a spacer, then add a small body lift. All of those are reversible.

I love my 8” lift and can’t even imagine going back to stock height.

This is my setup w/o the small body lift.

Any of the lifts that drop the transfer case will be permanent. Its the right way to do it for geometry but to each their own.

For now I'm going to go with the Bils 6112 and 5100 setup. That will level out and allow bigger tires for now, then I'll decide on a lift. I will not have to buy additional shocks when I do decide to get the lift, so less out of pocket at once. No to find the cheapest price on them, and some new wheels.

Thanks.
