Do I really need a tune?

I installed a 2014 ram 2500 5.7 cam in my 2013 ram 5.7 along with non mds lifters. Is the cam profile between the 2 that big of a difference that I need a custom tune? I know I need to turn off mds. I don't really drive the truck that much.
Anyone have experience with this?

honestly i dont think so other than turning off MDS
I have a 2500 and I use the same tunes in diablo that the 1500s use.
When I put a 6.4 cam in my truck it ran on the stock tune ok. Ran better once it was tuned.

That what i'm running into lol some are saying yes some are saying no. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the 1500 only running a few more degree timing than the 2500? The main thing I would think is long as its not running lean should be ok.
