Do the tow mirrors fold in towards the body?

I understand the the mirror itself fold up and out, but are the stalks hinged? Can I fold the mirror in towards the door/body to make the overall width narrower?

yep. they fold in and almost touch the door and window

Sweet, thanks for the reply. Any trick to it? The seam made it look like they folded, but mine are so tight I figured I'd ask here first. Just support the stalk and pull?

Try it from the outside with your hand on the mirror body and push back towards the door.

Are they power fold? Even then you can still fold them by hand. The power fold button would be in between the left/right mirror selector for the adjustment.

Mine are not power fold. But thanks for the instructions. I followed your directions and they folded easily. No way was I getting that truck through my gate into my back yard without folding them.

The tow mirrors also fold forward which is handy at a drive thru ATM.

It shouldn't, . The tow mirrors on my 2nd Gen folded front and back, too.
