Do you use a moly additive?

I've been using liquid moly with each oil change along with Mobil 1 5w20. I just recently switched to the SRT filter.

This post is more of a feeler on who uses what and what kind results who have had. I'll have to load some videos of the truck and whether I have and of the normal noises Hemi engines display

If you use a moly additive include it.

I used mos2 and I don't talk about it much because it made my truck sound horrible and I feel it was an isolated incidence. If I was going to use a moly substitute I would use lubeguard's as it isn't powdered moly in suspension but the same oil soluble moly as in PCMO's. Molygen Motor Protect also has a similar product it just isn't widely available here.

I used the entire bottle of the same one you did, engine sounded raspy immediately.

I use Lubegard in my 03 5.7 230k miles and my 87 Turbo GN 98k miles. I looked at Mos2 and made a "guess" that the Lubegard would be a better choice. Have gotten effective results. I used Pennzoil conventional oil with 1 quart of Resoluin for years.

i have used lubegard with valvoline 5w30 on a few oil changes and switched to red line 5w30 2 years past happy with it

I've used Liqui Moly in multiple vehicles (Toyota, Ford, Ram, VW)….never any problems.
