Hello!

I'm New in this forum from Hungary. I've got a 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi Magnum 4x4 Laramie Edition. I started to renovate my car ( painting, suspension, drivetrain, chassis etc). Also I wanted to renew my engine. My question is:
I can get a procharger supercharger, what modification do I need to add my engine? What is the max horsepower which my transmission can tolerate? I don't want to build for race, just get a little + power. I thinking about to add also a comp cams stage1 camshaft kit, but i'm worry about both modification too much for my transmission, and also for drivetrain. Theese original system can acceptable just the procharger with boost under presure 14psi?
Sorry for my english, I hope that you can understand my question :)
Thx for all useful comments!

ProCharger kit is available for your truck: https://www.procharger.com/2004-08-dodge-ram-truck-57-summary
You can either get the kit designed to work with the stock engine or you can get the tuner kit. Stock internals won't really handle much past 8 psi. You can easily forge the engine to take the beating of more boost, but your trans won't handle it. 14 psi the stock engine and trans will race to see who blows up first. If you go with that cam then you'll have to use the tuner kit and get it custom tuned. If you don't want to go through the whole process of converting to another transmission, do a forged stock rebuild, maybe find a cam that matches better to a blower. That'll give you more leeway on boost without possibly fragging the trans. Otherwise you'll need to start stockpiling RFE's (I'm on my 4th).
