Does this look right????

While under the truck to change the oil, I usually look around. I saw this and it didn't look right to me. It's where the passenger side lower control arm connects to the wheel. This rubber bushing (?) looks like it collapsed or something. Am I right or is this "normal"?? The driver's side does not look like this. I have a dealer appointment next week for a few other things, but don't want them wasting time on this if it's nothing to worry about. I need them to concentrate on my other issues with the truck. If I bring too much to them at once, nothing will get fixed.

It is a ball joint. While the rubber boot is twisted a little and not ideal, I doubt they will do anything unless the boot is torn. I personally would not be sweating it.

If you have a grease gun and a grease needle, you could put a couple pumps of grease in it would look AND work better.
