OK I will state this first. I have owned Fords for almost 40 years and know almost all the settings and how to set them, without looking at a manual. I have had 3 FCA products since 2014, a JKU/2016 Ram and a 96 JGC. With that said I now own a 2025 Ram 1500. I am going nuts trying to figure out the TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms). Is there any TLA to English for the Ram? I see EVIC/ RHO/ etc. Just trying to understand what is being talked about, and how to adjust my settings for my dash and truck.

RHO is Model name like Laramie or Bighorn.

EVIC: Is the center display in your truck in dashboard where "speedometer is, etc.

GO here, and download yer manual: And no, there is NO specific part that lists all the RAM acronyms in the manual in one spot, you have to research each section.

You will have to research each part you are looking for in the manual. If you were not shown, suggest you research and see how to Check your oil now, considering the 2025 Hurricane motors no longer have a dipstick.

EVIC, or Electronic Vehicle Information Center, is a driver-interactive display in Dodge, RAM, and Jeep vehicles that provides information about the vehicle's systems and features:
  • What it does
EVIC shows how systems are working and issues warnings when they aren't. It also allows you to access programmable features through a touchscreen.
  • How to use it
You can use the steering wheel-mounted controls to scroll through the main and sub menus to access the information you want. You can press and release the up or down arrow buttons to scroll, and press and release the right arrow button to select. To reset the displayed information, press and hold the right arrow button for two seconds.

RHO - Ram High Output, a stronger version of the new Ram 6 cylinder engine that replaced the Hemi V8.

Know there are other acronyms you want to know, like Hemi refers to the older hemispherical engine, a design that had ended but Dodge/Ram continued referring to its engines that way. Just plop the acronyms here and the great people here will help out.

Some others that got me:

TIPM - Totally Integrated Power Module, or fuse box.
HO - High Output, the lesser power 6 cylinder
eTorque - kind of a hybrid system where a 48 volt battery-powered motor assists the engine
Some others you may see:

Multiple Displacement System (MDS, where certain cylinders shut down at certain conditions to save gas(?))
Cold Air Intake (CAI)
High Intensity Discharge (HID)
Limited Slip Differential (LSD)
Light Emitting Diode (LED)
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
Distance to Empty (DTE)
Electronic Control Mofule (ECM)
Power Control Module (PCM)
Global Positioning System (GPS)
Miles Per Gallon (MPG)
UConnect is the entertainment system software
8.4 and 12 inch displays are the two most common upgrades to radio size
Tow/Haul is a button that eliminates overdrive or top gear and deactivates MDS
