Anyone else have this? Might not be a big deal but any kind of rust on my new (to me) truck stresses me out a bit lol

All 4 doors look like this:

agreed. Mine look like that but a good coat of lubricant keeps it from getting worse

Kinda off-topic, but this reminds me of when the door check cracked in my old Jeep(that's what the rusty part of the hinge is, it's what keeps the door open while getting in and out, and keeps the door from swinging freely).

One day I went to get in my Jeep. I opened the door, got in, but I couldn't close the door. The door was stuck open because the door check cracked. I had to remove it before I could close the door, lol.

Yea- not good. I use a white lithium grease on mine. Works great, very resistant to moisture.

I know white lithium grease can be sprayed on from a spray can, and I've done it, too, but I think a small can of lubricate and an acid brush works better, and lasts longer. I try to be careful with the spray can but invariably I spray more on the door and jamb than I want to clean up.

I have this on my '13 as well. A little less rust than yours though. It also groans a little sometimes when opening the door slowly. Been meaning to clean it up and lubricate it.

I used some synthetic gun oil on mine when it started groaning/creaking a month ago - been smooth and quiet ever since.
