Anybody else have scratches in The door jam, where your foot slides to running board on way out. Looking to help prevent this with vinyl or something of that nature. Ideas?

I bet a strip of that Clear Bra stuff would be perfect in there.

I Thought about skateboard grip take, comes in all colors and super durable. Trim to fit and lay it on. Maybe a heavy duty vinyl?

I also found those, nothing for 09+ though. There's a small step in the 4th gens, which is why I was thinking vinyl. I'd much rather just buy one made if possible.

I use those thick black plastic Ventshade door sill protectors.. They come with 3m double sided tape on the back and stick in place.. they look almost factory and work great!

Like these..

I guess when I looked for mine and seen that the 4th gens were listed that they also made the sill protectors for the painted area.. Seems odd they are only making the upper sill area for the 4th gens.. That step in the metal must be the reason..

Here is a company that makes products for protecting a vehicles paint and other parts.. I've never tried it though.

They have it in silver and black texture.. Looks like it would hold up and look better than grip tape
