Is anyone else getting their arm pinched by the door lock as you drive away and your arms on the door? Gets me every time !

I guess I got lucky, Ram did not install the pinch feature in my truck, never got pinched since I owned her. I need to contact Ram Cares to inquire about adding that feature to mine. :birgits_tiredcoffee

I tried fitting a silicone cap but there isn’t enough room to clear the door trim. Can the lock be unscrewed and replaced with a different button, I’d be happy with a dice or skull or almost anything.
I must be a slow learner as this has pinched me and my front seat passenger a number of times.
Any ideas?

I must be a lucky one because I haven't been pinched yet and my arm is out the window all the time.

Haha, a lot! I've learned that if i'm in a T shirt, I give the knob a shot with my elbow to knock it down as I drive off...

Never happened to me, but I don't drive with my windows down. The thing that has me wondering is why we even have those on these trucks. It's not like you can even use them to unlock the door. The only thing I use mine for is as a visual indicator to see if my truck is locked or not as I'm walking up to it. People in other forums have removed them to keep it from happening to them and their passengers.
