I think it looks great. What did you use? How hard was it?

Did you just cover the existing material or did you remove it and recover the factory backing board?

over the old material. it was more of a trial and error thing. if I didn't like it I was gonna just rip it off and redo it. but it turned out pretty nice so sticking with it.

thanks again all.

it was a learning curve, the first side (pass) was difficult cuz I tried to glue as I went. the second time I laid the glue down all at once and then laid the material and tucked the edges. I'll be redoing the pass side like my drivers side later this week. I love the look!

I dont see why that wouldnt be possible. Im about to rip this stuff off because I got in contact with coverking (people who make my seat covers) and they are gonna let me buy some of the fabric so the color and fabric will match the seat covers.

What type of adhesive did you use? I have thought of doing this but thought I was stuck with the old unless I bought a new panel($$$$$).

just used some spray adhesive you can get from home depot. things I learned from it is def let it get really tacky, use a somewhat thick material, the material I used was thing and I didnt much like the way it came out, and what I did was leave the panel together, and used a flat tool to get the edges in, but on the second time around I think Im just gonna pop that tabs and do the piece and then figure out how to get it back on.

Im gonna do mine here soon. Was thinking of actually taking it off and adding a small layer of memory foam on the panel and covering it in a white. Many say the white is a bad idea, but I want to because it will accent the trucks exterior and not many people do it anyways, and was also thinking of doing the same thing on the back doors as well.

yeah the next material I put on is much more thick and plushy. and I was just looking at the back door the other day and it def looks doable. I also plan on doing the headliner and visors. same material all around.
