I am having an issue with both rear doors of my truck. It was originally a 2014 but has been fully swapped to 2020 running gear and electrical. Everything electrical came from the same truck with the exception of the door electrical, they were taken from the truck before I got it.

I did the swap, a few minor issues but everything resolved except the rear door windows won’t work. Door locks and speakers work, no windows.

I am using the original switch from my truck (68080842AA) and motors.

If I use a jumper wire and jump from pin 2 to pin 4 and use the door switch it will go down as it should, to make it go up I can jump pin 2 and pin 3 and use the door switch to go up.

It is only a 2 wire going to the motor so it uses the opposite operating cable as the ground during that operation.

Something is mixed up or I need a different model of door switch?

Here is what goes to each pin on my switch, I have tested and confirmed which each one does and goes at present. IMG_5712.jpegI can’t find a pin out of it online for confirmation so curious if anyone can help.

1- 12v window close signal from driver door switch

2- 12v ignition

3- goes to window motor for down operation (gets 12v when door switch pushed down)

4- goes to window motor for up operation (gets 12v when door switch is pulled up)

5-Ground (confirmed with continuity tester that it goes to the body of the truck)

6- 12v window open signal from driver door switch

Thanks for your time!

I have a similar problem with my rear passenger door window. One day I rolled it down and it wouldn’t go back up. I took everything apart to see if I could find anything. It does not work with either switch. I jumped it to roll it up until I could work on it again. I got a replacement harness and that didn’t work. The window went down once and then nothing again, either up or down from either switch. I jumped it to roll it up again. Any thoughts?
