Security Bypass cable for programming keyfob

So I purchased the Kodtech bypass cable to program a key. It worked fine (unlock, lock and start engine fine) , but I was trying to get the remote start feature to work. I activated this feature in the ECO as well as the "Hood Ajar" adaptation. However, I could not find the actual hood electrical switch with a 1k ohm resistor. Some one in another forum said to ground pin 11 in the BCM cable- not sure where the bcm cable would be to do this.
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 tradesman, 6.7L Cummins, 8 ft bed

The BCM is in the driver side kickwell, just above the emergency brake.
