Working on 2014 Ram 1500 crew 2wd. Truck has drive shaft "thunk" at start and stops. Seen posts to grease the inside of the yoke. U-joints are good. What grease is recommended to put in the yoke to solve the drive shaft slap?

1500s do not have a front zerk for shaft only 2500s

Which grease like an oil question. I would use lithium designed for bearings but that is just me. Some old school use old school bearing grease some use high speed spec synthetic grease. Kind of a personal preference Hit up @Wild one on this topic.

All IMHO only.

No Stock 2 wheel drive Dodge Ram 1500 has had a Grease Zerk

I will not say that you can't disassemble the Universal Joints & regrease the End Caps

Use a grease with PTFE, and it will last. I have lubed many of them! Also, do not overlook the friction pads on the leaf springs and use a small brush to apply it.
