Ok, so I purchased a 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew in Feb. It was my first non GM vehicle, and I have for the most part, enjoyed my purchase. The last few weeks, however, my driver door is starting to leak air when going down the interstate. The main issue is, it does not happen all the time. I was about positive the air leak was around the glass. I took it to the local dealership a week ago (not the one i purchased from), and had them look at it. Was basically told, they could not hear the noise, tightened my front doors, found no service bulletins, and said it should fix it. Well, the wind noise still exists. I am going to take it back when i get time to have them check it again, but want to know if anyone else has had the same problem? I still am leaning towards the issue being the window seal, but am not 100% positive.

I have this same issue on a 2015. It doesn't happen all the time. I haven't taken it to the dealer because I can't get it to do it on demand.

Ask the dealer if you can do a ride along. then when it makes the sound you can point it out. i had a noise that they too couldn't hear. i drove with them and pointed it out, the mechanic goes, "Oh yeah i hear it now"

I think my 2015 has made a wind noise from the drivers side as well, but i only hear it when driving over 80 and its real windy out, I've only done that couple of times

Check to make sure your door seal isn't folding over or loose.

I guess i should've been more clear, It was a rear end noise on a different truck.

As for my wind noise, it doesn't happen enough times for me to be concerned

I had wind noise at the A post on both front doors of my 2016 2500. I took it into my dealer and they replaced both door seals without question and that solved my wind noise issue.

Actually can't get in until the 7th. Any info before then would be helpful.

I have the same issue on my 2015 Laramie Limited.
Wind noise from driver side when traveling on the highway.
Keep us posted on the dealers findings.

Mine almost soundly like it is coming from around the glass on the door. IS yours similar?

I've heard the same issue on my 2017 Laramie Crew Cab. With the driver's door open there is a seal visible that's at the front edge of the rear door. I've found mine loose several times and reset it. Give that a try.

Also if you replaced your antenna for a shorty it could be your issue like it was for me.

Just an update. Took it to the dealer the second time today. Had a different technician drive it and heard the problem right away. They have ordered a new weather stripping around the window glass. Hopefully will fix issue.

I have a 2016 1500 Laramie 4x4 with tow mirrors and i have wind noise on both front doors the dealer replaced the window seals and and still same. funny thing is if you flip the tow mirrors up the noise almost goes away but the dealer will not replace the mirrors for standard ones .

I have the same issues with my 2017 Ram 2500 Laramie. I’m out of town right now, but when I get back I’ll definitely go over all of these suggestions. To me it sounds so loud it’s like the window is open about an inch, but of course it isn’t.

Also have wind noise but only when a strong crosswind and driving interstate speed. Thinking tow mirrors are making air move funny.
