Driver side window switch

Hello Ram drivers. My 2017 Ram Sport is experiencing intermittent driver side window switch issue. Most of the time, the auto up and down works. Yesterday after work, the auto up on my window ceased. I drove today and the issue persists. I have not washed my truck in a week if that matters. The other door switches function as each should. Please share your thoughts on this issue

you could try using a plastic paint scraper & pry up a corner of the switch.
Then lift the switch up & unplug the wiring, if you don't see anything wrong. just spray CRC or LPS electrical contact cleaner on both parts of the connector & plug it back in

When it detects an obstruction it will cease to work until reset. To reset, lower the window and hold the button down for 10 seconds after it has bottomed out, then hold up until closed and continue holding for an additional 10 seconds. The reset is complete, if it didn't take try holding each position for 20 seconds each.

I remember the reset now. What I do not remember is if the ignition should be set to run or accessories

Id suspect the switch is starting to fail. I have had to replace two of mine. Now my driver has not given me any issues.

I got both of mine on Amazon and they are great quality. They feel just like OEM.

I priced a import window switch from Amazon and from Mopar. Mopar price is I think 125 dollars.

They sell Standard replacement window switches. That is what I replaced mine with.

I replaced mine with one from Advanced Auto (core charge was more than the switch), and it has been working with no issues for over 6 years now. Really simple to replace.
