Symptom Driver side door lock switchs quit working. All other controls in that switch module worked.
Key fob would operate all door locks but every time I got close to the truck with the fob doors would lock by themselves without me touching any buttons. Easy to lock your keys in that way.
I was concerned that it was the actuator. It was the switch buttons in the door.
Dealer repaired today. $510 later I learn that the entire switch button assembly in that door can be purchased aftermarket for about $30. Install is a simple pry up, unplug old module and plug in new one. The BIG MESSAGE. Try replacing the switch button module yourself for $30 and two minutes of time. Learn from my expensive mistake.

That sucks, but at least she's fixed.

Just curious what the dealer charged for the part and for labor.

Also had some funny business going on like that in my truck ended up being the battery on the key fob. Something else to check as well next time.

I replaced the master switch on my 13 Charger R/T, cost $135 from the dealer.
Took 30 seconds in the parking lot to swap it in.
Seems like a hefty labor charge for 30 seconds if OP paid over $500.

Look at your receipt, it should tell you hourly rate and how many hours it took them. I'd be pretty pissed if it were me and I'd go back and talk to the service manager, sounds like they charged you for coffee breaks and lunch.
