DRL for 2013+ Projectors

Hey guys I recently upgraded my 2012 slt headlights from stock quad headlamp to the 13+ projectors with the plug and play adapter from retroshop. It worked out great, however because my truck still thinks that the old headlights are in, it keeps the daytime running lights as the high beams half power instead of using the LED strip on the new projectors like the 2013's and up do...

Does anyone know how I could get it switched over? Is the dealership the only ones that could do something like this? BTW.. I live in Canada so...

Wasn't too bad! I waited it out on Kijiji until a write-off came along and let them go for cheap. About $500 all together with harness and HID's after included. I sent him an email the other day and he said he doesn't think the dealer can switch them, they can only turn on and off.

In the states its not mandatory to have, maybe yours aren't turned on.. I'm in Canada with no option

At this time there is no way that I know to do this.
