cant figure out why they dont come on during the day. they will if its super cloudy or getting darker, but not on normal mornings or days. the truck says it has DRLS in the unconnect menu?

Drl's come on only if the truck is in drive, neutral or reverse. Automatic headlights come on when sensor detects the right lighting conditions.

DRLs are not enabled by default and based on your description doesn't sound like yours are.

You might be able to get a dealer to enable drl's. Most likely, if you have quad headlights, they'll be high beams at a reduced power.

You can use alfaobd to enable drl's in whatever location you want

My experience with the dealers enabling was a waste of time, none knew how or would try. Did it myself in 10 minutes with Alfaobd and it was cheaper than a dealer.
