Yes, it can be done. HF can walk you through the process.

yes it can

Just some background info;

"hemifever" is a guy. His name is Sean and he's been tuning for quite some time. So a "hemifever" tune is just a custom tune written by Sean. He's what's know, as a CMR tuner (ChipMaster Revolution is the software they use for writing these tune files) There are other CMRs out there as well but most do default to Sean.

As far as the DS tuners themselves, they are a completely separate entity. The tuner comes with its own preloaded or "canned" tunes that are very conservative. But they also allow for custom tuning, so when your CMR writes custom tune file and emails it to you, you simply load it onto your device and then onto your truck much like any of the canned tunes. The trinity is the top dog as far as tuners go, the most capability and works across all years of our trucks. In 2011 chrysler changed the PCMs and the InTune wouldn't work with the new set up, so they created the DCX InTune specifically for 11+ chrysler vehicles. It's no different than the regular Intune tho

Yup. The DCX will hold custom tunes in addition to your stock tune and the pre-loaded canned tunes.

that makes much more sense to me now, I really dont need all the extra capabilities of the Trinity monitoring and such, may just get the DCX...
thanks!

The DCX and Trinity basically function the same except for the user configured display on the Trinity. Same canned tunes, same capacity to hold tunes, same ability to log engine functions, etc...

I should probably get one for mine now that I have the '14 CC.
