Does anyone know if Durango or even another mopar related vehicle's seats will fit in a ram 1500? Im sure not a direct replacement but maybe with a few modifications it'll fit? Particularly the R/T seats. I really like the Durango R/T seats with red thread and the logo. Any advice or direction appreciated.

Your best bet is to take it to a upholstery shop and just get some custom work done. They can add the side bolster and red stitching even add a logo if you want and then you dont have to sacrifice the saftey. Not to mention that kind of work isn't nearly as expensive as you would think. Your saftey starts in your seat they are suppose to break and slide different ways in a collision so absorb impact insted of transfer to you, by modifying the mounts you change those dynamics. Just my .02

I agree with above ... You’re playin with fire ... Seat covers and be done with it ... Katskinz are a good option

You can MAKE almost ANY seat fit in anything, but it's gonna be work. The amount of work depends on the seat, the mounting and the electrics compatibility. That said it would be way easier to have a good upholstery shop rebuild yours to a similar config assuming you already have bucket seats. Have you checked out late model buckets for the Laramie and up?

I have a 14 Durango and 14 RAM. No idea if the seats will fit. I feel the seats in the Durango are narrower. I have an SXT Durango though not the RT but the seat is all electric in comparison to the manual levers i have in my RAM. Perhaps a better idea to use a RAM 1500 seat from a higher trim ?

I have a 15 durango RT and I'd rather do a long trip in my ram. There's not nearly enough cushion in the seats of the durango. Don't get me wrong the leather is sweet and all but I wouldn't do it.

I just found a set of durango rt seats for dirt cheap and was curious. In pictures they almost look identical other than the back seat. Wasnt sure if this was one of those interchangeable items. Appreciate everybody's response and help though.

Having owned both I think you'll find the Durango seats narrower.........like above comments, I agree that you should have your factory seats redone.
