Just figured I post my dyno run from today. Was able to get 417 h.p. with 6 lbs. of boost. I'm driving the everyday so I didn't want to go with anything crazy. Just runs and drive like normal until you get on it. Not sure where to go next, I figured just drive it and enjoy it. Any suggestions?th_IMG_2246_zps5e0d0200.jpgClick on the pic to watch the video

Start making it light. Still impressive numbers on 6 lbs and daily driven.

Wow- great number!
If you drop it (like I think you plan to) you could lose the side steps. Not sure what else you can do to lighten a Reg cab daily driver? Losing interior panels and sound deadening gets old REAL quick on a DD, especially if you do any highway time.

I think those are good numbers, especially for a daily driver

Im a personal believer with sticking with what works. If this was not a daily driver, there are many recommendations.
But you got plenty of power for a dd

Seems like plenty enough power for a single cab. I guess the next step would possibly be, forged internals for more boost? Perhaps a stroker kit if you wanted to go all out?

You can do a 6.1L stroker with just pistons, rods and crank and couple extra upgrade pieces, or a 6.4L stroker with pistons, rods, crank, and a slight over bore. Still keeping 6 lbs of boost, that would net you a nice 80-100 horses. Plus a lopy boost cam... and OMG!!! 110-150 with proper tuning!!!

I'm no tuner so these numbers are solely hypothetical averages.

But all this motor work would be after some brake and suspension upgrades to put all the already additional ponies down, right? Getting going is no good if it can't turn or stop.

You are already making great power, so I would leave the motor as is for now. Next step for me would be to get the suspension taken care of. 2/4 drop would look great with that color.

Bad Ass! How soon does the boost come on? I like the look of the smooth power band!

Don't take this personal but 417 sounds kinda low... What are your supporting mods?

Looks about right for 6psi. 8 would probably run it up close to 440.
