Broke down and took my truck down to be dyno tuned. Went through every possible thing trying to figure out my emissions issues. Anyways after 5hrs on the dyno, she's running smooth as silk, HP/TQ bands are looking real good, afr is holding strong @ 12.3, driveability adjustments were made. Needless to say it is running great.

Now for the numbers, 322rwhp and 302rwtq, will get the chart and video up once its finished loading (probably tomorrow morning). I am pleased with the numbers though, was hoping for about 8 more HP but its all good for a "cam only" truck.

As for the reason I took it there in the first place, all obd sensors read ready so I can take it down, 2 months late, to get it tested and passed so I can drive it again.

Now, of course numbers don't mean a whole lot, so hopefully once it cools.down a bit more I can get it out to the track and see what she does.

Considering last time it was on a dyno it only had a SC3815, Borla catback and afe intake and it laid down 270rwhp and 295rwtq, I'm pleased.

I still have 5.7 envy but my 4.7 runs much better, thanks to this board. Sounds like your emissions won't be a problem.

It was a good chunk of change, not something I really wanted to spend to say the least, but in the end it was worth it. Plus being for "emission purposes" the whole bill from the shop is a tax write off so it wont be so hard of a hit next year.

I am sure hoping they wont, taking it down today to get retested and passed. The OBD tool I have been using is showing the all of the monitors ready now, before I had 4 monitors bad.

My first pull had TRQ through the roof and the HP was low and fell off quick. Kinda the opposite of the first graph ya sent me.

Looks like it might be time to step up to a higher stall converter. With you not hitting your peak tq until 5200rpms, you might be cutting yourself short with a 2800 stall.

If I were to, i'd only bump up to a 3000, I still use my truck. Other thing is that does not show my cmr trans tune and I can tell you with that tune loaded my truck is a whole other beast. So I think I'm fine for a bit. Would love some more tq though.

Were you going through the full exhaust or was this with the cutout open? Also, do you have a single or dual cutouts, and are they before or after the cats?

That was running through the cutout (single just before the muffler, after the cats).

Very nice numbers man!

Thank you, I'm pleased with the results. Puts me at more HP that the 4th gens but less tq, however the trans tune adds a bit more to the table.

So great news so far today, went down for testing, everything passed with flying colors. She's "legal" again lol!
